A TSO Christmas

A few days before Christmas I was at the TSO's annual Holiday concert with my Grandama, Mom and Sketchbook. Last time I posted about Roy Thomson Hall I tried to grasp the scale of the choir with my drawings. This time I thought I'd focus more on everyone who was performing. Since we were seated slightly further and my eyes are getting blurry from *cough* old age, I wasn't able to see as well as the last time. So this kind of worked in my favor to help eliminate unnecessary detail.

Here, a mom and daughter have a pre-show chat.

There were lots of people in the lobby that I drew, but of them all I really liked these two. The one on the left for her dead-straight hair and bunched up jacket and the girl on the right for her serious pondering.

There were lots of families there to support the choir, which was made up of Music Theatre Majors from my old arts high school.

I liked how this guy kept slouching in his chair every time his bit was done.

The guy they got to come out to sing was completely over the top! I felt like I was in Vegas! It was totally amazing!

Then they did a rendition of T'was The Night Before Christmas, which was really cute.

Completely delicious HAM!

I did a bunch of the Conductor. When placed side-by-side it looks like he's fencing himself!
