Smoking In Paris

Here's a quick little update from the archives, a drawing that I did of a man smoking on a bench in Paris. Even though I hate other people smoking, after spending over a month there last summer I found myself growing fond of the sight. They make it look so darn classy!

Anyhow, it's crunch time for my film and I'm animating like a crazy freak every waking hour. Sorry about the slow blog posting, I promise I'll make it up to you!

Hothouse Week 4: Blog Post Roundup

We're in the thick of things now where I'm animating like mad while we still work on a few key story points in the virtual edit suite. Skype has turned out to be pretty effective for collaborating with everyone! But I thought I'd take this opportunity to let you know of the other articles I've written about my NFB Hothouse 7 experience.

Firstly, check out the NFB Hothouse Blog to read up on what all six of us have been doing this past month. While you're there, why don't you peruse the extensive collection of free films they've got posted on the site? The selection is overwhelming and they keep adding to it all the time! Also, if you're an iPhone or iPad user they've got a great app that allows you access to everything on the go. To get you started, here's a totally adorable animation by Norman McLaren which features one of my favorite animals!!
